Pogba has no plans of extending United deal

French midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly made it clear that he has no ambition of signing a new contract with Manchester United.

The 26-year-old was heavily tipped to join Real Madrid during the summer transfer window but the La Liga outfit could not reach an agreement with the Red Devils.

The Mancunian giants have since pressed to reward the midfielder with a new bumper deal but Tuttosport claims that the former La Havre graduate has no intention of penning a new deal.

Pogba's current contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer of 2021 but the club can automatically extend his deal for another 12 months through a clause inserted.

Still, they may consider sanctioning his sale by the end of the campaign in order to preserve the transfer value which will undoubtedly reduce as he nears the conclusion of his deal.

Pogba has recently been sidelined with recurrence of his ankle problem but he is likely to return to first-team training ahead of the league clash against Liverpool on October 20.
