Manchester United receive surprise injury boost ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester United have received a surprise injury boost ahead of the Liverpool game with goalkeeper David de Gea reporting for the team's meeting at the Lowry Hotel.
The 28-year-old shot-stopper sustained a groin problem on international duty with Spain earlier this week and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that he is likely to be sidelined for the Reds clash.
However, in the lead up to the game, De Gea has reported for the team meeting and it appears that he could make the starting XI against the Reds on Sunday afternoon.
Sergio Romero has been fancied to make his first Premier League appearance of the season and the same has been talked up through the club's twitter account in the past few days.
Until yesterday, Solskjaer said that De Gea won't make the matchday squad for the weekend clash and it will be interesting to see whether the Spaniard has proved his fitness.
