Chelsea finally set Olivier Giroud price?

Giroud set for January Chelsea exit?

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to sanction the sale of Olivier Giroud, should any club meet their £5m asking price during the winter transfer window.

The 33-year-old has fallen behind Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi in the pecking order for the striker's role and he has made just six appearances in all competitions.

According to The Express, the Blues are willing to sanction the striker's sale at the turn of the year and they are said to demand around £5m from potential suitors.

Giroud has already voiced his concern over the current situation and he is said to be worried by the fact that his lack of gametime could hamper his international prospects.

Giroud has been ever-present in the France national setup over the years and he has recently been in top form for Les Bleus with three goals from his previous four caps.

Still, he is concerned that his selection could be in doubt for Euro 2020 and he could make a return to the French top-flight with Bordeaux, Marseille and Lyon among the clubs interested.
