Lyon striker Memphis Depay has refused to rule out a potential return to the Premier League amid the speculated interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Dutchman spent 18 months with Manchester United in the Premier League but he struggled to make much of an impression and was offloaded to Les Gones in the winter of 2017.

The Netherlands international has since transformed his fortunes with 50 goals from 130 appearances for the French outfit and he has also excelled for the national side in the same period with 14 goals from just 23 caps.

As a result, there has been speculation that he could return to the English top-flight with Spurs at the turn of the year and when asked about the possibility of a Premier League comeback, he told Voetbal Primeur:

"It's a very nice competition. It's up to the club that is interested. I belong in a team that plays good football and can play around me, so that I can do my thing. I never rule it out."

Depay is presently with Ronald Koeman's Dutch team on international duty. He is expected to start in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Estonia.
