Manchester United to swoop for ex-Liverpool midfielder?
Manchester United will reportedly be offered the chance of sign Emre Can at the turn of the year with Juventus deeming him surplus to requirements.
The Germany international only joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer last year but he has struggled for playing time this season with just one league start under Maurizio Sarri.
According to Calciomercato, the Serie A holders are expected to offload the midfielder from their ranks in January and United are one of the sides, who will be communicated regarding the player's availability.
However, the Turin giants won't sanction the midfielder's sale on the cheap and they are set to demand around £35m for the permanent departure of the ex-Liverpool star.
United have been fancied to part ways with Nemanja Matic at the turn of the year and that will certainly see them enter the transfer market for an immediate replacement.
It has been recently stated that the Red Devils have made contact with the representatives of Can and it remains to be seen whether a formal approach will be made in January.
