Manchester City receive double injury boost ahead of Chelsea clash
Manchester United have reportedly received a double injury boost ahead of their Premier League encounter against Chelsea on Saturday.
The Cityzens were without the likes of Ederson and David Silva for the recent Liverpool game with thigh and muscular injuries respectively, but they have made a comeback to training ahead of the Blues clash, Football.London reports.
Pep Guardiola's side have already suffered three defeats in the current top-flight campaign and they are presently nine points behind Liverpool, who are unbeaten and at the top of the standings.
As a result, the Mancunian giants can't afford to drop any more points in the quest for the title and they face a testing challenge on their hands against the Blues, who have won their last six league games on the bounce.
Frank Lampard's side are currently one point ahead of the Cityzens on the table and a victory on Saturday would create club history, given no Chelsea team has previously won eight away matches on the trot in all competitions.
