Arsenal considering Max Allegri for the manager's job?
Arsenal have reportedly made contact with ex-Juventus boss Max Allegri regarding the prospect of replacing Unai Emery as the new head coach.
Emery is currently under immense pressure with the club failing to win any of the previous five league games and reports indicate that he could be axed from the managerial role in the coming weeks.
According to Football.London, the Gunners hierarchy are looking into probable replacements and Allegri has already been spoken to regarding the possible vacancy in the near future.
Earlier this month, it was stated that Emery would be offered with five league games to turn things around but the weekend's 2-2 draw against Southampton has led to calls for him to be sacked.
Arsenal are presently eighth in the standings and they have accumulated just 18 points from 13 games. They are already eight points behind the top four and have a tough task of securing Champions League football for next term through the league.
