Arsenal fear player exodus, should they stick with Emery

A large section of the Arsenal board believe that the reluctance to sack Unai Emery could contribute to the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang parting ways with the club.

Emery has received plenty of criticism from the fans this season and there have been calls for him to be sacked with the club winless in the past five Premier League games.

According to The Mail, members of the Arsenal hierarchy believe Emery should be dismissed in the near future or else, they could face a mass exodus of players at the end of the season.

Aubameyang and Lacazette are among the players, who have declined to sign new deals and the duo could potentially head through the exit door during the summer unless the club qualify for next season's Champions League.

Aubameyang has recently been linked with a summer move to Barcelona. He will be entering the final year of his contract in July 2020 and this may compel the Gunners to sanction his sale.
