McTominay to earn new Man Utd contract

Scotland international midfielder Scott McTominay is set to be rewarded with his excellent run of form with a brand new contract at Manchester United. Boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is keen to tie the player down to a new deal and has reportedly opened discussions with McTominay's agents regarding a fresh £60,000 per week deal at his new club.

According to multiple reports, McTominay is close to signing the dotted line and with it his long-term future is likely to be guaranteed for the Old Trafford club.

The midfield enforcer has caught the eye this season in what has been a very average season for United so far.

McTominay has played 18 times for United this season and has also scored a number of important goals.

It is understood the terms of his deal will run until 2025 with his new club and that McTominay will sign the contract this week.

It had been rumoured last month that Paris St Germain were interested in signing the Scottish international from Manchester United in the January transfer window.
