Arsenal want to hold talks with Portuguese manager

Arsenal are reportedly awaiting permission from Wolverhampton Wanderers as they seek to discuss the head coach role with Nuno Espirito Santo in the coming days.
The Portuguese was linked with the Gunners head coach role shortly after the sacking of Unai Emery last month but it was thereafter claimed that the club had removed him from their shortlist.
However, according to The Mail, that does not appear the case and the north London giants are said to hold a firm interest in recruiting the Portuguese, who guided the Wolves to the seventh spot on their top-flight return last term.
Nuno has refused to speak on the Arsenal link over the past few weeks and it is reported that the Gunners must seek permission from Wolves in order to hold formal talks with the 45-year-old over the managerial vacancy.
Arsenal will be aiming to register back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since August when they entertain Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
