Barcelona have no intention to sign Chelsea midfielder

Barcelona are said to be hold no interest in signing N'Golo Kante from Chelsea during next summer's transfer window.

The Frenchman has been with the Blues for the past three-and-a-half seasons but of late, there has been speculation that he could make the switch to the Spanish La Liga.

Both the Blaugrana and Real Madrid have been credited with an interest but Mundo Deportivo claims that the Spanish champions are unlikely to make an approach at the end of the season.

The Spanish outfit are currently loaded with options in the centre of the park and manager Ernesto Valverde has recently hinted that there could be possible departures at the turn of the year.

Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal have been fancied to head through the exit door and the latter has been linked with a possible move to the Premier League with Manchester United.

The Catalan giants are currently at the top of the La Liga standings on goal difference to Real Madrid, whom they face at the Camp Nou later this evening. They are unbeaten in the past eight El Clasico meetings.
