Man Utd manager admits Haaland interest

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer news

Haaland on cusp of United move?

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the club are interested in making a move for striker Erling Haaland in the January transfer window. The RB Salzburg striker has performed very well over the past year and has caught the eye of several top European clubs.

One thing in Man Utd's favour is the fact that Solskjaer has already played an important part of the development of youngster Haaland at Molde and seemingly a transfer fee is close to being agreed between Salzburg and the Old Trafford outfit.

Haaland is valued by his club in the region of 55 million Euros and the striker has already told his family that he would like to make a move to the Premier League side.

“He is a player I like," said Solksjaer in an interview.

“We are looking for good players all the time. Erling has had a good development, so he has to develop further wherever he decides.

“I don’t need to talk so much about him, but we as a team always look for players who can complement the others we have, and then we see what we end up with.”
