Ibrahimovic set for Everton move?

Newly appointed manager Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that a move for Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be imminent this winter transfer window, as the forward, who is currently available as a free agent, suggests he would like to return to the Premier League.

Ibrahimovic famously had a spell with Manchester United under Jose Mourinho, but later departed England for a move to America with the LA Galaxy. Now he is out of contract, it is understood the Swede wants to return to the Premier League.

In an interview with the press, Ancelotti suggested a move for Ibrahimovic is on the radar:  "Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a good friend of mine. He was my player.

"Fortunately I have trained a lot of good, fantastic players. Ibrahimovic finished his period here at [Manchester] United and I don't really know his idea.

"I have to call him. I am going to call him. If you want to come to Liverpool, to enjoy, he can come. But not to play!"

Ibrahimovic has hinted that a deal to return to England is more likely than a return to Italy, as he favours the footballing culture in the United Kingdom.
