Barcelona eye move for Italian midfielder

According to Italian outlet Sempreinter, Barcelona have identified Inter Milan midfielder Sensi as their transfer target next summer.

The report also states that Sensi’s fellow team-mate Lautaro Martinez is also on the Barca’s wishlist.

Sensi, who is bound to Sassuolo, is currently enjoying a great loan spell under Antonio Conte, racking up 3 goals and 2 assists in 8 games. He also registered his first goal for the Italy national team in the Euro Qualifiers.

The 24-year-old has become a key cog in Conte’s midfield as his absence on the field played a big part in the Nerazzurri’s Champions League exit. The Italian is expected to return after the winter break after sustaining an injury to his adductor in the Serie A fixture against Juventus.

Elsewhere, Barca are looking to strengthen their midfield as Arturo Vidal has been linked with a move to Inter while Carles Alena is being pursued by Getafe.

The Blaugrana are currently leading the La Liga table and will face local rivals Espanyol after the winter break.
