Manchester United identify England star as top attacking target
Manchester United have reportedly earmarked Leicester City midfielder James Maddison as a top target for next summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils are said to be eyeing attacking reinforcements next year and Maddison is one of the names that has been constantly linked with the club.
According to The Star, the Mancunian giants are keen on pushing through a transfer deal for Maddison but they may have to wait until the summer with the Foxes reluctant to discuss a mid-season deal.
It is added that the England international won't come on the cheap for the Red Devils and they are prepared to make a bid of around £80m for his services at the end of the campaign.
Maddison has contributed five goals and three assists for the Foxes in the Premier League. The east Midlands outfit look in a strong position to finish in the top four with a 10-point advantage over fifth-placed Tottenham.
