Arsenal midfielder agrees January loan exit?
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka is reportedly close to sealing his loan exit from the Gunners after agreeing personal terms with German side Hertha Berlin.
The Switzerland international's agent confirmed earlier in December that his client had made the decision to join Hertha and it appears that the move could be on the cards in the coming days.
According to The Telegraph, Hertha have found the breakthrough over the personal terms with the midfielder and they are keen on signing him on loan with the obligation to buy at the end of the season.
However, the deal has yet to be sanctioned by manager Mikel Arteta and the Spaniard is likely to demand the purchase of another midfielder, should Xhaka head for a departure from the Emirates.
Xhaka, who was stripped of the Gunners captaincy over his fan outburst in October, was absent for the Premier League clash against Chelsea last weekend due to an illness.
Arteta has remained quiet with regards to the speculation over the midfielder's future but it appears that the Gunners will eventually sanction the player's exit during the January transfer window.
