Chelsea to swoop for French Ligue 1 striker?

Chelsea are reportedly considering a January move for Lyon's Moussa Dembele as they seek to provide competition for Tammy Abraham in the centre-forward role.
Abraham has been the undisputed starter upfront for the Blues this term and he has already bagged 14 goals in all competitions including the winner at Arsenal last weekend.
Despite this, Blues boss Frank Lampard is aware of the need for competition for places and the likes of Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud have barely managed to threaten Abraham's spot in the starting XI.
According to Sky Sports News, the west London side are planning to recruit a new marksman in the New Year, particularly with both Giroud and Batshuayi fancied to head through the exit door.
Dembele has been earmarked as the prime transfer target by Frank Lampard due to his similiaries with his former teammate Didier Drogba and the 41-year-old wants to push through a transfer in January.
Dembele has netted 10 goals for Les Gones this season.
