Manchester United reject offers from European giants for midfielder
Manchester United have reportedly turned down bids from both Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid for the midfielder Nemanja Matic.
The Serbian struggled for minutes during the early stages of the current season and he was tipped to push through an exit at the turn of the year.
However, his gametime has significantly improved with injuries to Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba and the club are now reluctant to sanction his sale this month.
According to The Record, both Atleti and Nerazzurri came up with offers for the former Chelsea man last week but the Red Devils were quite clear that the midfielder won't be sold.
Matic has made 11 appearances for the Red Devils and he has started the past two Premier League matches against Burnley and Arsenal respectively. He was recently involved in the first-leg of the League Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
The Red Devils are winless since the beginning of the New Year but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to end the run when they entertain Norwich City at Old Trafford on Saturday.
