Kepa Arrizabalaga could have played his last game for Chelsea
Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga may have played his final game for Chelsea after manager Frank Lampard's decision to drop him for the recent Premier League clash against Leicester City.
The 25-year-old has been the regular pick for the league and European games since his arrival from Athletic Bilbao 18 months ago but he has recently faced the axe with Willy Caballero starting at the King Power Stadium.
According to Cadena COPE, Arrizabalaga may not feature again for the Blues this term with Lampard prepared to stick with Caballero as the first-choice keeper for the rest of the season.
In this case, Arrizabalaga could head through the exit door in the summer and reports claim that Nick Pope of Burnley has been earmarked as the prime target to replace the Spaniard at the Blues.
Pope has been in superb form for the Clarets throughout the current campaign and he is currently tied with Alisson and Dean Henderson in the race for the Premier League Golden Glove award with nine clean sheets.
