Manchester United favourites to sign Jadon Sancho

Manchester United are reportedly leading the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Sancho was the subject of a transfer approach from the Red Devils last summer but Dortmund made it clear that they won't sanction his sale.

Still, he has been continuously been linked with a Premier League move and Sky Germany claims that United are favourite to sign him in five months' time.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea have also expressed an interest in the former Manchester City graduate but they may be reluctant to meet Dortmund's price.

The Blues are alleged to have already agreed a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for £37m while they are looking to trigger the buy-back clause to re-sign Jeremie Boga.

The Reds, on the other hand, are not necessarily looking at options for the starting lineup and they may struggle to convince Sancho without the assurance of regular playing time.

Dortmund are expected to demand a fee of around £127m for Sancho and that should be within the range of United, who are eager to land a top-class right-sided winger.
