Inter Milan tracking Man Utd and Chelsea's striker target
Inter Milan are interested in signing Napoli forward Dries Mertens, according to SempreInter.
The Belgian attacker is set to become a free agent this summer and has reportedly refused to sign a contract extension – which has handed his potential suitors namely Chelsea and Manchester United a huge transfer boost.
However, Serie A table-toppers Inter are said to be monitoring the progress of the 32-year-old, having identified him as a top target in the summer.
Mertens is also looking in sublime touch this season, racking up 10 and 5 assists in all competitions for Partenopei.
Meanwhile, Inter are set to part ways with loanee Alexis Sanchez as Manchester United appear keen on his return.
Nerazzurri could also lose their star striker Lautaro Martinez in the summer, with Barcelona keeping close tabs on him. The Argentina is also said to be favouring a move to the Camp Nou.
Antonio Conte's side are leading the race for Scudetto this season ahead of the defending champions Juventus.
