Arsenal set asking price for Aubameyang sale

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang news

Aubameyang to leave Arsenal?

Arsenal are reportedly set to demand around £70m for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer amid his reluctance to ink a new deal.

The Gabon international has only 17 months remaining on his existing deal with the side and so far, he has shown no indication of penning a renewal beyond that period.

According to The Mail, the 30-year-old has snubbed a £350,000-a-week extension with the Gunners and that could see him head through the exit door in the summer.

It is added that Inter Milan have emerged as fresh favourites to land the experienced marksman as they anticipate the departure of Lautaro Martinez in five months' time.

Martinez has been fancied to join Barcelona over the past 18 months and the move could materialise in the summer with the Spanish giants eyeing a competitor to Luis Suarez, who has suffered multiple injury setbacks of late.

Arsenal are scheduled to host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday. They have been in decent form under Mikel Arteta with four draws and one win from the previous five league games.
