Manchester United keeping close tabs on Celtic ace
Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard alongside a wide array of names.
The Red Devils signed Odion Ighalo last month as a short-term replacement for Marcus Rashford but are looking for high-profile names in the summer.
According to Goal.com, United would push for Edouard if they fail in their pursuit of RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner whose likely destination turns out to be Liverpool.
Edouard, 22, is one of best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and continues his excellent run for the second straight season. He is currently topping the scoring charts with 20 goals while also adding 10 assists to his name.
Having bought by the Celts as a replacement to Moussa Dembele – another United target – Edouard has managed to exceed the expectations, helping his side win a bunch of trophies over the course.
The French U-21 star also added a goal and 2 assists in the Europa League group stage, but the Hoops got eliminated in the end.
Man Utd are currently ninth in the Premier League table and will face Chelsea on Monday.
