Liverpool to miss out on Jadon Sancho?
Liverpool will reportedly bow out of the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund due to the hefty price tag set by the German club.
The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the most-sought-after attackers in European football and he has bagged 13 goals and 13 assists in the Bundesliga alone this season.
As a result, he has caught the attention of several Premier League sides including Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea but it appears that the former may be priced out of a summer deal.
According to Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside outfit are not in a desperate need for a top-class winger in their ranks with the excellent form of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in recent years.
While they will miss the services of both during the African Cup of Nations next year, the club are still unwilling to pay the £120m fee for Sancho, who may not be assured with a starting spot for each and every game.
Sancho was on the scoresheet in Dortmund's 4-0 thumping of Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday night. Lucien Favre's side are currently within three points off league leaders RB Leipzig.
