Arsenal planning summer swoop for Valencia ace
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Valencia winger Carles Soler in the summer transfer window.
The Spaniard has signed a contract extension with Valencia recently, extending his stay until 2023.
According to Mirror, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has added Soler to the summer shopping list as he is poised for a squad rebuild.
The 23-year-old, who reportedly holds a release clause worth £140m, is also said to be wanted by fellow La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
Soler is having an excellent season in La Liga this term, finding the net three times in all competitions.
Normally playing as a left-sided midfielder under Albert Celades' 4-4-2 formation, Soler can act as an advanced No.10 as well as a winger.
The Spaniard scored a crucial goal in the UCL group stage tie against Chelsea, which later helped Los Che progress to the round of 16.
Elsewhere at the Emirates stadium, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with an exit this summer as his current deal runs down in the summer of 2021.
Meanwhile, Alexandre Lacazette, who has also grown wary over the absence of the Champions League football, could seek an exit from the North London club; Atletico Madrid are keeping close tabs on the French forward.
