Arsenal lining up move for Roma midfielder?

Cristante to Arsenal?

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a possible approach to sign Bryan Cristante from AS Roma during the forthcoming transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who has contributed one goal and two assists this term, is said to be one of the summer targets for Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.

According to Calciomercato, Arteta is an admirer of Cristante's talents and the club's scouts are hoping to catch a glimpse of the midfielder when Roma face Lecce this weekend.

It is added that the north London giants have been impressed with the overall showing of the midfielder this term and they could lodge an offer when the transfer window reopens.

Cristante, who began his professional career with AC Milan, only joined the Giallorossi on a permanent deal from Atalanta BC in the summer of 2019.

He has managed just 17 appearances this term but that has been largely due to the adductor injury which kept him out of action between October and January.
