Neville feels Pogba will be gone in the summer

Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes the Red Devils will sanction the sale of midfielder Paul Pogba when the current campaign concludes.

The Frenchman talked up the prospect of pursuing a fresh challenge last summer but that did not happen with the club clearly stating that he won't be sold.

Since then, he has made just seven league appearances in the club's shirt and during this period, he has struggled with a nagging ankle problem for which he has undergone an operation.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said that the club should end the ongoing saga with Pogba with his agent Mino Raiola regularly talking up the midfielder's desire to join another side.

"It will end in Pogba leaving Manchester United. What the club need to do is make a stance on that agent. He has messed them around for years with Pogba and others," he told.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer previously indicated that Paul Pogba could return to first-team action in February but that won't be the case with the midfielder requiring at least three more weeks for rehabilitation and light training.
