Emerson set for Serie A move - Agent

The agent of Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has confirmed that Juventus have joined Inter Milan in the race to sign his client during the summer transfer window.

Maurizio Sarri and Antonio Conte are currently the head coaches at Juventus and Inter Milan respectively and both of them have previously managed the Blues in the past.

As such, they have a good knowledge on the playing style of Emerson and it appears that the Italy international could be the subject of interest from the Serie A in the summer.

Speaking to Juvenews.eu, agent Luis Fernando Garcia confirmed that both Juventus and Inter are keen on luring Emerson back to the Serie A but an exit from the Blues won't be finalised until the end of the season.

"We know very well about Juventus's interest but also about Inter. So far there has been no talk of a transfer with Chelsea, nor has there been any official offer. In the summer we will decide what to do," he told.

Emerson has dropped down the pecking order at Chelsea this term and he is now regarded as a back-up option for the left-back spot. Cesar Azpilicueta has been the regular for the position in recent months.
