Arsenal want Canadian striker to replace Aubameyang?
Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on the progress of Gent forward Jonathan David ahead of a possible summer move for his signature.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for the Belgian outfit during the current campaign and he has already amassed 23 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
His bright run of form has caught the attention of several elite Premier League sides and the Gunners are deemed to be monitoring his performances, as per Goal.com.
The north London side face the prospect of selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when he enters the final year of his contract in the summer and reports claim that David has been earmarked as a possible successor.
David has been valued at around £25m in the media but Genk's president has recently indicated that the club will definitely demand more for the services of the Canadian forward.
Arsenal are scheduled to host West Ham United in the weekend's Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium. They are presently five points behind the Champions League places.
