Chelsea plan record move for Bundesliga attacker
Chelsea could reportedly break their transfer record in order to sign Leon Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen during this summer's transfer window.
The Jamaican has been linked with a Premier League move for a number of years and the Blues are said to be one of the long-time admirers alongside Arsenal and Liverpool.
According to The Express, the Blues have been keeping a close eye on the progress of Bailey and they could make a formal approach to land his services in the summer.
Bailey has three more years remaining on his contract with Bayer Leverkusen and reports claim that the Blues will need to break the bank with a £85m offer in order to lure the forward from the German outfit.
Frank Lampard's side recently watched the forward in action during Leverkusen's 3-1 win over Rangers in the Europa League. Bailey scored the club's final goal in that game after coming off the bench.
The 22-year-old has scored seven times for Leverkusen this season.
