Arsenal set price tag for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sale

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang news

Arsenal set Aubameyang price

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to sanction the sale of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer, should any club meet their £50m asking price.

The Gabon international has netted 61 goals during his two years with the Gunners but his future remains doubtful with his contract expiring at the end of next season.

According to Sport, the north London side are eager to extend the contract of the 30-year-old marksman but so far, there has been no progress in the negotiations.

As such, the board are likely to consider his sale in the summer and reports claims that they will demand at least £50m to part ways with the former Borussia Dortmund star.

Barcelona are reportedly the favourites to sign the experienced striker but the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan are also keeping tabs on the forward's situation.

Aubameyang has netted 49 goals from 74 games in the Premier League to date. He is on course to become the fastest Gunners player to score 50 goals in the division.
