Arsenal free to negotiate contract with Chelsea star
Arsenal have reportedly been offered a boost in signing Willian from Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Brazil international has been with the Blues since the summer of 2013 but his future with the club remains uncertain with his contract expiring in three months' time.
Willian has already stated that he wants to complete the current season with the Blues but he could thereafter pursue a free transfer with the Blues reluctant to meet his demands.
According to ESPN, the 31-year-old wants to extend his contract with the Blues for the next three seasons but the west London side are only prepared to offer him with a two-year deal.
Hence, he is expected to be on the move during the off-season and reports claim that the Gunners could compete with Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur to sign the attacker.
Arsenal are likely to work on a limited budget for the summer and they are said to be keeping an eye on players, whose contracts expire in a few months' time.
Apart from Willian, they are keen on landing the services of Ryan Fraser and Layvin Kurzawa from Bournemouth and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.
