Barcelona reject chance to sign Chelsea star

Barcelona have no plans of offering a contract to Willian when leaves Chelsea on a free at the end of the campaign.

The Brazilian has failed to agree fresh terms with the Blues hierarchy and he has recently confirmed that an exit could be a possibility.

Of late, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have been credited with an interest but Sport claims that the latter have no desire to signing him.

The Spanish champions have been chasing Willian's services since their Champions League meetings against Chelsea two years ago but it appears that they are now prioritising other targets for the transfer window.

Neymar and Lautaro Martinez are the main players, who have been linked over the past few days and it is quite clear that the Catalans are aiming to rebuild their frontline ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, Willian, whose contract expires in a few months' time, could yet remain in the Premier League with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur said to be monitoring his situation.
