Aubameyang to Man United?

Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs, who have made an approach to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal during the summer.

The Gabon international has less than 15 months remaining on his contract with the Gunners and so far, the north London side have failed to convince him to extend his stay.

As a result, he has been widely tipped to leave the Emirates at the end of the season and United have expressed an interest in securing his services, according to Sport.

Apart from the Red Devils, the 30-year-old striker is also on the radar of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain and reports claim that the Gunners would prefer to sell him to an overseas club.

Aubameyang has netted 20 goals in the current campaign. 17 of those have come in the Premier League where the Gunners are ninth on the table with 40 points.

Aubameyang is keen on plying his trade in the Champions League next term and he appears unlikely to extend his Gunners contract unless the club manage to qualify for the elite competition.

Mikel Arteta's side are eight points off the top four but they can progress to the competition with the fifth spot due to Manchester City's European ban. They are currently five points behind fifth-placed Manchester United.
