Chelsea to miss out on Primeira Liga defender?
Chelsea are reportedly set to miss out on the services of Alex Telles with Paris Saint-Germain said to be in advanced negotiations to sign the Porto defender.
Telles' current deal with Porto expires at the end of the 2020/21 campaign and this has garnered plenty of interest from elite European clubs.
The Blues were recently suggested as one of the leading candidates to land his services but GauchaZH claims that Les Parisiens have jumped ahead of the queue for the Brazilian.
It is added that they will land his signature for around £20m when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season. Meanwhile, his arrival could pave the way for the departure of Layvin Kurzawa on a free.
The Frenchman's deal expires in a few months' time and he has been fancied to head to the Premier League with both Chelsea and Arsenal credited with an interest.
Chelsea currently have Marcos Alonso and Emerson as the specialist left-back options but the latter has been tipped to return to the Serie A during the summer.
