Arsenal make enquiry for French playmaker
Arsenal are reportedly in contact with Real Betis regarding a summer move for Nabil Fekir.
The Gunners were offered the player's services during the 2019 summer transfer window but they rejected him to sign Daniel Ceballos on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.
Ceballos initially featured in an advanced attacking role for the club but as the season has progressed, he has played in a more central position alongside Granit Xhaka.
According to AS, the north London side will part ways with Ceballos when his loan stint expires during the summer and it is unlikely that he will return to the Emirates.
The same outlet cites that contact has been made with Betis for Fekir, who came on the cusp of signing for Liverpool from Lyon in 2018 before the move was scuppered due to medical reasons.
Fekir has registered seven goals and six assists since his £20m move to Betis last summer. The Gunners may need to pay at least £40m in order to convince the Spanish outfit to sell him.
