Arsenal to change transfer strategy this summer?
Arsenal could reportedly be on the lookout for free transfers and swap deals this summer amid the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recently admitted that the uncertainty of the transfer market and reports have emerged that the club could face losses of upto £50m in revenue if the matches are played behind closed doors for the rest of the year.
According to The Express, the Gunners are likely to resort to free transfer and swap deals this summer and Willian is regarded as one of their prime targets ahead of next season.
The Brazilian's deal with Chelsea expires at the end of the campaign and the north London giants are keen to pounce on the situation and land him on a three-year contract.
Elsewhere, it is suggested that the club won't risk the prospect of losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when his contract expires next summer. They are expected to sell him unless he opts to sign a new deal.
