French midfielder open to Manchester United transfer
Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is open to making the move to Manchester United during the summer, a report from Gazzetta dello Sport claims.
The 25-year-old joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and he was fancied to cement a regular role at the heart of the club's midfield.
However, that has clearly not been the case and he has been restricted to only 24 appearances, out of which only 11 of them have been starts in the Serie A.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Rabiot would be open to making the switch to Old Trafford this summer, given he is unlikely to remain satisfied with a bit-part role in Turin.
United are currently loaded with numerous midfield options but they are still said to be lining up a move for another player with the anticipated departure of Paul Pogba.
Pogba has been regularly linked with Juventus and Real Madrid this year but he is said to have the preference to re-sign for the Bianconeri. Rabiot could yet be used as a makeweight in the deal.
