Arsenal, Manchester United learn Ousmane Dembele price

Ousmane Dembele news

Dembele could be sold by Barcelona

Arsenal and Manchester United could get the chance to sign Ousmane Dembele when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

The Frenchman has been with Barcelona since the summer of 2017 but he has made only 74 appearances as a result of multiple hamstring issues.

He is currently sidelined until September with a long-term hamstring concern and it appears that the Blaugrana are prepared to consider his departure.

According to Marca, the Frenchman has just over two years remaining on his existing deal and there are no plans to renew his contract beyond that period.

Furthermore, the attacker himself may prefer a change in surroundings and reports claim that he could be available for around £53m during the next transfer window.

Both Arsenal and United have remained long-term admirers of the former Borussia Dortmund man but it is unclear whether they will take the gamble on his fitness.

Furthermore, the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic has meant that no clubs are likely to spend significant fees on players and the Blaugrana may have to reduce their price tag further to sanction Dembele's sale.
