Manchester United reach complete agreement to sign £62m striker
Manchester United have reportedly reached a complete agreement with Lyon to sign Moussa Dembele during this summer's transfer window.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent years with Arsenal, United and Chelsea credited with an interest.
However, according to Fichajes, the Red Devils are said to have won the race for his services after finalising a deal worth £62m with Les Gones.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Ligue 1 side this term and he has bagged 22 goals and seven assists across all competitions for the club.
Earlier this year, it seemed that he could be on his way to the Blues but it does not appear the case anymore due to his preference to join the Red Devils.
The former Celtic man is likely to provide the much-needed competition to compatriot Anthony Martial for the centre-forward position next season.
Meanwhile, a deal for Dembele could pave the way for Odion Ighalo's departure from Old Trafford once his loan move from Shanghai Shenhua expires.
The 30-year-old's temporary deal concludes at the end of May but the club are hoping to keep hold of his services until the end of the season.
