Barcelona star's agent pushing for Arsenal transfer

The agent of Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho is reportedly keen for his client to make the move to Arsenal during the next transfer window.

The Brazilian is presently out on loan at Bayern Munich but he is expected to return to the Camp Nou when the campaign concludes.

Coutinho has been heavily linked with a possible return to the Premier League and The Mirror claims that agent Kia Joorabchian is aiming to lure him to the Gunners on loan.

The 27-year-old has made a mini-revival to his career at Bayern Munich where he has bagged nine goals and eight assists from 32 appearances in all competitions.

Bayern Munich had the option to buy him for around £105m but they decided against the clause amid the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

It is unclear whether the German champions will make an attempt to sign him this summer. They are said to prioritise a move for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
