Arsenal interested in £32m-rated Dutch striker
Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Wolfsburg forward Wout Weghorst this summer.
The north London side are currently uncertain over the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with his existing deal due to expire in 12 months' time.
It has been widely suggested that Aubameyang could be sold at the end of the season and Bild claims that Weghorst has been identified as a possible replacement.
The Netherlands international was in good form during the 2019/2020 campaign for Wolfsburg and he bagged 20 goals from 42 appearances in all competitions.
Weghorst has a strong aerial presence with his height and in addition to his, the Dutchman has impressed with his quality finishing in front of goal. He is currently valued at around £32m.
Aside from the Gunners, Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in the ex-AZ Alkmaar man, who has turned out four times for his national team.
The Magpies are likely to be taken over by a Saudi consortium in the next few weeks and they have been fancied to go on a spending spree ahead of next season.
