Manchester United to step up Grealish interest

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offload both Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira, should they secure the services of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa this summer.

Grealish has fared impressively for the west Midlands outfit since their Premier League comeback and he has bagged seven goals and six assists from 30 appearances.

His form has grabbed the attention of the Red Devils, who are aiming to sign a versatile midfielder and The Express claims that his arrival may coincide with the departures of Lingard and Pereira.

Lingard and Pereira competed for the number 10 position during the first half of the season, but they have dropped down the pecking order following Bruno Fernandes' move from Sporting in January.

The Portugal international has been ever-present for the Red Devils in the Premier League since his arrival and Lingard and Pereira have been afforded with minimal gametime in the Cup competitions.

Aside from United, Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the Villains captain. Grealish is valued at around £60m but the price tag could reduce to £45m, if his team are relegated.
