Leroy Sane set to join Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester City for the purchase of German winger Leroy Sane.
The 24-year-old was initially tipped to join the German champions last summer, but the deal did not materialise after the attacker suffered a serious knee injury on Community Shield duty.
Since the season resumption, Sane has managed only 11 minutes of Premier League action for the Cityzens and Pep Guardiola recently confirmed that the forward has no intention of renewing his contract beyond June 2021.
According to Bild's Christian Falk, it is now confirmed that an agreement has been reached between Bayern and City for Sane and the transfer will be made official in the coming days.
The Bundesliga giants are set to pay an initial fee of around £41m for the winger and it is claimed that he will start training with Bayern immediately and won't play any further part in the Cityzens' season.
Sane would, however, remain ineligible for Bayern until next term.
