Arsenal receive fitness boost with midfielder back in regular training
Arsenal have received a fitness boost ahead of their forthcoming Premier League clash against Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium.
The north London side have played four games on the road since the season resumption and they are now set to make a return to familiar surroundings.
The Gunners have experienced a number of injury concerns since the restart but they have received a boost ahead of Wednesday's league clash.
Earlier last week, it was confirmed that Cedric Soares had returned to full training and Lucas Torreira has now joined his teammates on the field.
Torreira suffered an ankle fracture in March against Portsmouth in the FA Cup and it was initially predicted that he could miss the entire season.
The coronavirus shutdown has helped in his recovery progress and he appears set to play a part for the club in the remaining games.
Granit Xhaka and Daniel Ceballos have been the regular picks in the midfield under Mikel Arteta and Torreira may initially feature from the bench.
