Serie A giants readying move for Chelsea striker
Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly planning a fresh attempt to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
The Nerazzurri were keen on landing his services during the January transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise as the Blues could not find a replacement in time.
Giroud has since enjoyed a splendid revival to his Blues career with a regular run of Premier League starts and he has been in fine scoring form with four goals from his previous six appearances.
Despite this, there continues to remain speculation regarding his future and Tuttosport claims that the Nerazzurri will make a bid of around £4m to recruit the France international this summer.
Giroud obviously wanted to join the Nerazzurri in January due to the lack of playing time under Frank Lampard, but his stance may have changed over the past few months.
The Blues are set to welcome the signing of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig next term and it remains to be seen whether that makes him reconsider his future at the club. He has 12 months remaining on his contract.
