Chelsea star offered lucrative contact to join Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered Willian a lucrative contract to join them on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Brazilian's present deal with Chelsea expires at the end of next month, but there has been no progress in terms of the renewal.

Willian is quite clear that he wants a three-year deal but so far, the Blues have been reluctant to extend his stay for more than two seasons.

According to Football Insider, manager Jose Mourinho have already spoken with his former player regarding a Bosman move to the north London side.

Spurs are prepared to offer an increase on his current £120,000-a-week wages and they are also willing to include a big signing-on fee.

Willian has been in top form for the Blues since the season resumption and has bagged four goals and two assists from his last five league games.

Overall, he has registered 11 goals and nine assists for the Blues from 43 appearances this term and has been a regular starter under Frank Lampard.
