Arsenal can sign Dani Ceballos for £23m
Real Madrid have reportedly told Arsenal that they would need to pay a fee of £23m to sign Dani Ceballos on a permanent basis.
Ceballos joined the Gunners on a season-long loan in July last year and he has since experienced a mixed campaign with ups and downs.
Under Mikel Arteta, he has emerged as a key player alongside Granit Xhaka in the centre of the park and he has particularly impressed with his distribution.
According to Marca, Los Blancos are prepared to sanction Ceballos' sale this summer as he does not future in the plans of Zinedine Zidane.
It is added that he could be available for a £23m fee and the Gunners have been informed of the asking price alongside former club Real Betis.
Since the winter break in February, Ceballos has been ever-present in the Premier League and has managed at least 75 minutes in each game.
He is expected to partner Xhaka in the central midfield when the club take on reigning champions Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium tonight.
