Antonio Rudiger to leave Chelsea?
Antonio Rudiger could reportedly be shown the exit door by Chelsea this summer following his inconsistent performances during the current season.
The German has made 111 appearances for the Blues since his move from AS Roma three years ago and out of those, 24 have come during the current campaign.
Rudiger has been a regular under Frank Lampard since overcoming his injury issues, but he was recently dropped from the starting lineup after a disappointing display at West Ham United.
He was able to regain his spot for the recent 1-0 win over Norwich City at home, but there are still doubts whether he will remain with the club beyond the summer.
According to The Mail, the club's hierarchy are yet to initiate talks over a contract extension with the central defender, whose current deal expires in two years' time.
The Blues have been fancied to pursue a new centre-back during this summer's transfer window and it remains to be seen whether that has any effect on the future of Rudiger.
West Ham United's Declan Rice has been identified as the prime target with Lampard wanting to play the England international in a back three next season.
