Chelsea want Arrizabalaga replacement this summer

Chelsea are determined to land a new goalkeeper this summer even if Kepa Arrizabalaga remains contracted with them next season.

Arrizabalaga has experienced a difficult campaign with the Blues and he has been criticised by some fans for his average shot-stopping abilities.

He has been touted to head through the exit door this summer, but so far, the club have not found any interested buyer to meet their £50m price tag.

According to The Telegraph, the west London side are likely to pursue a new goalkeeper this summer and the move won't depend on the future of the Spaniard.

Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid is the top candidate on their shortlist while Manchester United's Dean Henderson is also under consideration following his consistent displays on loan at Sheffield United.

Arrizabalaga has been linked with a possible return to Spain ahead of next season and reports claim that Valencia and former club Athletic Bilbao may be interested in landing him on a season-long loan agreement.
